How to identify which size tube you require:

Ear Side:

• For the Left ear, the writing on your tube will be Blue
• For the Right ear, the writing on your tube will be Red

How to identify the correct MiniFit Corda Tube:

• Sizes available: -1, 0, 1 ,2 ,3, 4
• Thicknesses available: 0.9mm, 1.3mm

If you remove the dome from your current tube, where this usually sits will be some numbers  e.g. 0.9 2 – the first number indicates the thickness of tube you require. Typically, 0.9mm is for mild to moderate hearing loss, and 1.3mm is for moderate to severe hearing loss. ‘2’ would indicate that you would require Size ‘2’. Occasionally, after prolonged periods of use, the text can wear off. In this instance, please contact your hearing care professional.

Instructions:

1. Remove the old Corda Tube: To remove the old Corda Tube, gently pull on the tube at the base where it connects to the hearing aid until it is removed.
2. Attach the new Corda Tube: After choosing the correct size and thickness of Corda tube, align the new tube with the hearing aid and gently push this into place until it is firmly attached to the hearing aid.
3. Check the Fit: Ensure that the Corda Tube is securely attached and fits comfortably in your ear. The Corda Tube should fit snugly without causing discomfort or irritation.
4. Regular Maintenance: Clean the Corda Tube regularly by using the Cleaning Wire Sticks as shown in the video below, which helps to keep the tube clean and clear from debris and wax, allowing optimal performance.
