Widex EasyWear V1 Retention Locks are a useful accessory for Widex hearing aids (excluding Widex Moment rechargeable hearing aids).

These are small plastic accessories which hooks onto the end of your Widex EasyWear V1 receiver wire, and loops around into your ear to retain the hearing aid.

The Widex EasyWear V1 Retention Locks are compatible with Widex EasyWear V1 Receivers, which are compatible with all Widex hearing aids, apart from the Widex Moment Rechargeable hearing aids, which require the Widex V2 Retention Locks >>

If you have Widex Moment hearing aids with a disposable battery, you will still require the V1 Receiver and Retention Locks.

These retention locks are universal, meaning they will fit any power or size of Widex EasyWear V1 receiver.

Please note, these are not compatible with the newer Widex EasyWear V2 Receiver Wires, these will need the Widex EasyWear V2 Retention Locks.

If this happens, just pop the Widex EasyWear V1 Retention Locks somewhere warm for 10 minutes and they should be malleable after that!

Yes. You do not need an audiologist to fit them for you, as the just slide over the end of the receiver wire. You will need to remove your domes before fitting!
You will know when they need changing as the plastic gets brittle and hard over time. Once this begins to happen, it is time to change to a new Sports Lock! There is no set time on this, as it can vary due to lots of different factors. If you live somewhere colder, you will most likely have to change them more often.
