How to identify which receiver you require:

Ear Side:

For the Left ear, your receiver will be Blue.

For the Right ear, your receiver will be Red.

Power and Length:

Sizes Available: 1 ,2 ,3, 4, 5.

Powers Available: 60db, 85db, 100db.

If you remove the dome from your current receiver, where this usually sits will be a number on either side of the receiver body. On one side will be a number ranging from 1-5 – this will be the size of receiver you require. On the other will be either 60, 85 or 100 – this is the receiver power you require.

Instructions:

1. Remove Old Receiver: Using the receiver removal tool, insert this into the receiver wire hole on the hearing aid, and gently push and slide it up to disconnect the receiver. You will then be able to remove the receiver by gently pulling it up and out.
2. Insert New Receiver: Take a new MiniFit Receiver of the appropriate size and power level recommended by your hearing care professional. Align the receiver with the designated slot on the hearing aid and gently push it into place until you hear a click, indicating that it is securely in place.
3. Check Placement: Ensure that the new MiniFit Receiver is properly inserted and aligned with the hearing aid. There should be no gaps or misalignment between the receiver and the device. If necessary, adjust the placement until it is secure and flush with the hearing aid.
4. Test Performance: After replacing the MiniFit Receiver, test the performance of the hearing aid to ensure that sound is being delivered effectively. Pay attention to any changes in sound quality or volume, and consult your hearing care professional if you notice any issues.
