Instructions:

1. Pairing: You are only required to pair to any device once. To pair your phone,  ensure Bluetooth is enabled/switched on. Switch on the ComPilot, and hold the connect and volume up buttons simultaneously until the audio LED’s begin to flash blue. On your phone’s list of Bluetooth devices, select Phonak ComPilot II, and enter the code ‘0000’ if required. The ComPilot II also requires access to your phone book, which you will need to accept when the request pops up. Once this is completed, your device is successfully paired.
2. Wireless Streaming: Once paired, you can start streaming audio from your Bluetooth-enabled devices to your hearing aids through the ComPilot II. For any other devices, simply follow the step-by-step process listed above.
3. Remote Control: Use the buttons to adjust volume, change programs, and activate special features on your Phonak hearing aids. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions on using each function.
4. Making and Accepting Phone calls: To make a phone call, simply dial the number you wish to call on your phone and begin the call. You will hear the dial tone through your hearing aids. When connected, speak through the ComPilot rather than the phone. When the ComPilot II is worn around your neck, this will pick up your voice adequately. To accept a call, you just need to press the main button on the front of the ComPilot once you have heard the ringtone through your hearing aids.
