What size battery do I need?

Hearing aid batteries are all color coded by their packaging and removable tabs – Size 10 are Yellow, Size 13 are Orange, Size 312 are Brown, Size 675 are Blue. Many hearing aids also have the number written on the inside of the battery door.

Are these compatible with my hearing aids?

Yes, Rayovac batteries are compatible with all hearing aids that use disposable batteries, provided that you select the correct size for your hearing aid!

How long will a battery last?

Multiple factors can affect the longevity of a battery, and each battery size will last for a different length of time, with smaller batteries lasting for shorter amounts of time. In general, you can expect a disposable battery to last anywhere between 3-20 days.

Instructions:

Remove the old battery: Open the battery door and remove the old battery.
Insert the new battery: Remove the colored tab (ensure you do this only when you are ready to use the battery) and insert it into the hearing aid.
Check Placement: Ensure that the new battery is placed the correct way up. Some battery doors will not close properly if they have been inserted wrong. Many hearing aids will also play an audible jingle if held close to the ear once the battery door has been closed to confirm that the battery is inserted correctly.
